Microsoft and Meta Launch Limited Quest 3s Xbox Edition for Cloud Gaming

Microsoft and Meta worked together to offer a limited edition Meta Quest 3S Xbox edition.
Amidst the console war, continuing to heat up with the highly successful and record-breaking releases of Nintendo Switch 2 and Sony’s PlayStation Days of Play Sales, Microsoft has once again announced a partnership that will throw another curveball and lead VR to fans.
According to Xbox Wire, the Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition will not be created for Xbox only. As Microsoft continues to evolve the way fans play, you can stream games through the cloud.
A Microsoft spokesperson told Fox Business that the collaboration was born for fans.

Limited edition headsets will only be available while supplies last.
“In our partnership with Meta, we have released the Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition bundle, bringing players an alternative way to explore hundreds of games on a large 2D display using Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta), using a new headset and an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership,” a Microsoft spokesman said. “The Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition bundle is now available for purchase at Select US and UK retailers.
Supply for the Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition may not last long. If you try to buy online at the MetaShop, you will see that fans are already sold out.
According to Lori Wright, corporate development and development through Xbox Wire will be available to US fans on Best Buy.

The limited edition VR headsets are sold out on the Meta website, but other retailers such as Best Buy are in stock.
“Quantity is very limited. Once they’re gone, they’re gone,” Wright said in the release.
Wright also said he was proud of what Microsoft and Meta built together and did this for his fans.
“I’m proud of what I built with Meta. I can’t wait to jump into everything the Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition has to offer,” Wright said in the release. “Whether you stream Pass Ultimate titles for the latest Xbox games, explore the ever-expanding VR’s ever-expanding world of VR, or kicking it with immersive entertainment, this is just the beginning of what’s possible when a great team and great technology come together.”

According to the Microsoft website, the initiative Microsoft is pushing is called “This is Xbox.” The power of the cloud allows fans to use anything on laptops, phones, handheld ROG Ally X, and Meta Quest 3S.

“Our goal with Xbox is to provide players around the world with more options on how to play the games they want to play on their own devices,” a Microsoft spokesperson told Fox Business. “We recently announced that a 2D gaming experience via Xbox Cloud Gaming is now available in the new Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition bundle.”

The Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition Bundle sells for $399.99 and comes with a custom 128GB Meta Quest 3 for Xbox Carbon Black and Velocity Green.
