WWE announces acquisition of AAA before WrestleMania 41 begins

WWE Chief Content Officer Paul Levesque talks about the acquisition of Mexican wrestling company AAA after 41 nights and one nights at WrestleMania.
WWE made a big announcement before the WrestleMania 41 launched on Saturday night.
The company acquired Mexican professional wrestling promotional Lucha Libre AAA and held a joint event with NXT in Los Angeles in June, known as World’s Collide.

The announcement sent shockwaves into the world of professional wrestling as WWE is confident of the signatures of Penta and Ray Phoenix and the push of the so-called El Grande American masked wrestler and 99.9% certainty.
WWE Chief Content Officer Paul Lebasek spoke about the company’s decision to acquire AAA at a Postrest Tourmania 41 press conference after Seth Rollins defeated Rome’s rule and CM Punk in a wild main event.
Levesque told reporters that the intention to “foster Lucha Libre” pointed to the impact that wrestling style had on Central and South America and parts of the United States.

One of the AAA’s top start, El Hijo del Baikinkyo was attending WrestleMania 41 after seeing the El Grande American defeat Phoenix.
