if Drew Pearson Having things going in Dallas, he said that’s exactly the way to go… TMZ Sports Prime is expected to be the “first choice” for the vacant Cowboys head coaching job following McCarthy’s departure on Monday.
“I think he has the ability,” the Hall of Famer said of the Buffaloes’ current head man. “There’s no question he’s qualified to do it. He’s paid his dues. He’s worked his way up through the ranks and shown every step of the way that he knows what he’s doing. We have proven it step by step.”

“He has had success in leadership positions from high school to college,” Pearson said. “So why can’t he succeed as a coach in the pros? I think he should be the Dallas Cowboys’ first choice.”
