According to footage, the 37-year-old singer broke down in tears on stage on Thursday, November 28, marking four years since her miscarriage. shared by Daily Mail.
Introducing her new song “Comes in Waves,” Jessie (real name Jessica Ellen Cornish) became visibly emotional as she explained to the audience that the song was inspired by her own loss and grief through pregnancy.
“Today marks four years since I lost my baby,” Jesse told the audience, according to video footage. “I don’t know if anyone has gone through the same thing, but if you have, or someone close to you witnessed it, it’s really awful.”
She added, “It’s something you can never truly be prepared to experience. This song is for anyone who needs a hug. I hope this song helps you the way it helped me.”

Jessie described how she felt when doctors told her in November 2021 that her baby’s heart was no longer beating.
“I remember going home and not processing anything,” she recalled.
Jesse said the “worst moment of the whole experience” was the sense of isolation he felt along with the sadness and loss.
“I felt like I was given everything I’ve ever wanted, and then someone said, ‘But you can’t have it,'” she said on the podcast. “I have never felt so alone in my life.”

“Yesterday morning, my friends and I were laughing and thinking, ‘Seriously, how are we going to get through our show in Los Angeles tomorrow night without telling the whole audience that I’m pregnant?'” Jessie captioned an Instagram selfie with a pregnancy test on Nov. 24. “By yesterday afternoon, I was scared to think about making it through the show without getting sick… after I went in for my third test and was told there was no longer a heartbeat 💔.”
She further elaborated on her grief, adding, “I decided to have a baby on my own because that’s all I ever wanted and life is short. Being pregnant in itself is a miracle and an experience I’ll never forget and I know I’ll have again. I’m still in shock and the grief is overwhelming. But I know I’m strong and I know I’ll be okay.”
