He continued: “Finally, I added a little bit of silver, which I thought would be really nice and add a little character and hint at aging, but not go overboard. And Bill loved that color. He noticed the change, so he agreed and wanted it to happen.”
White added that Skarsgård stayed in character on set and was “quiet and in the shadows, just like Orlok.” However, seeing the actors in formal wear was much more comical behind the scenes than one would imagine.
