Jimmy White must remain on the circuit after losing in the qualifying round for the World Championships

Jimmy White’s absence from the World Championships will extend from 20 years after losing in the second round of qualifying.

The 62-year-old White has not been featured in the melting pot since his first round loss in 2006, and has since lost every year in qualifying.

That record rose to 2019 when he was beaten by Ashley Kurt.

Rotherham Potter defeated six finalists 10-5 at the English Sports Institute in Sheffield.

White will need to stay on the circuit for another invited tour card or trip to Q-School after suffering a demolition.

Former German Master Winner Anthony Hamilton It stopped a sensational fight from Stephen Hallworth. Stephen Hallworth chased 9-0, creating a momentum-filled clearance, earning 10-8.

No player won the last 19 matches, 9-0 to 19, but Hallworth appeared to have appeared on the course of history when he led 63-0 in the 18th frame. The match appeared to be set in the final frame when Hamilton summoned a clearance of 69 to win in Black.

“It’s as hard as trying to get past the line in the ranking final. It’s a story that chases you for the rest of your life. If you lose from 9-0, you’re doing quizzes and stuff. You don’t want that,” said Hamilton, 53.

“He left in the first session. I was there. It was a proper match of two halves. And I say I left. I mean, it’s not like golf where you can walk around a little bit. You’re gone.

“He was the boss everything. You saw that scoreboard ticking in one go, and you’re all over the gaff! I told my peers 8-0.
