I feel like it’s a creative tool. While other website builders lag or stutter when adding new elements to a page, Squarespace is fluid. With quick access to edit your site from the dashboard, Squarespace feels like it’s designed so you don’t have to dig through tutorials. I launched a simple photography website and within an hour had a custom course page set up, appointment scheduling with automatic confirmation emails, and services (pricing and payment acceptance features).

Hostinger’s website builder is available for just a few dollars a month, but based on my testing, it feels like it’s heavily skewed toward beginners.

Although you do sacrifice some power for convenience, there is so much you can accomplish with Hostinger. Integrations with PayPal, Stripe, and Square allow you to quickly set up e-commerce. The WhatsApp add-on provides live chat functionality, and Printful support allows you to sell print-on-demand products. And if you outgrow your website builder, you can use Hostinger to export your website content to WordPress.

What makes Hostinger a winner for me is its AI tools. Almost every website builder has some form of AI integrated these days, but with Hostinger, it’s everywhere. That’s also because Wix is ​​so powerful. Rather than locking you into a sophisticated (albeit restrictive) website building workflow, Wix gives you plenty of options.

First, the template. Wix offers over 2,000 templates compared to hundreds available elsewhere. As of this writing, Wix’s website has 223 pages. Not everyone is a winner, but by browsing the template and uploading a few photos, I was able to create a simple photography portfolio website mockup within minutes.
