Currently I have AI in Windows Paint and Notepad. Here’s how to use it
Generated erase and deletion backgrounds are available for free, but image creators use AI credits associated with their Microsoft accounts. These cannot be purchased individually. Windows Notepad AI
Notepad is probably better known as a code editor than a word processor, but in recent years Microsoft has added more features to its formatting and autosave methods. When opened in Windows, you will see these features and the co-manipulation button in the upper right corner of the interface.
You cannot use Copilot in the NetPad to generate new text. This can be done with other tools such as Copilot or ChatGpt on the web. Instead, this feature allows you to rewrite and adjust what you have already created. Therefore, before clicking on the Copilot button, you must place the text in Notepad and select it.
With your selection, click the Copilot button to see various options. I’ll shorten it and It’ll be long Obviously, it can be used to change the length of the selected text. Also, Change the tone Optional if you want your text to be more inspirational, formal, casual or humorous. there is Change formatthe selected text can be placed in a different structure, i.e., a list, marketing story, poetry, etc.
You can also choose rewrite From this menu, you can see a preview of the more comprehensive set of options and text that was rewritten before it was applied. A new pop-up window will appear, with more options to change length, tone and format. You will also get a variety of variations to choose from for each case. If you find something you like, click Replace Exchange with existing text.
At the time of writing, Notepad seems to offer some AI-driven rewrites for everyone for free, but like paint image creators, you’ll need some AI Credit Use this extensively with your Microsoft 365 or Copilot Pro subscription.
Of course, if you don’t want to use these AI tools, or if you don’t want to see the Copilot button hanging, you can turn it off completely. Click the gear icon (top right) and then turn it off. Co-pilot Toggle switch.
